I don’t typically do things unless I’m passionate about them, and I happen to be pretty passionate about both writing and baseball … in particular, St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
Ballparking It began as part of an idea for me to accomplish my lifelong goal of visiting every major league baseball stadium. Around the time I turned 29, I realized the perfect time to start my 30-ballpark journey would be during the season I turn 30 (2018).
I toyed with the idea of trying to see every ballpark in one year, but I decided to take my time and try to see the Cardinals play in as many of the ballparks as I can. (Honestly, I’m more of a Cardinals fan than overall baseball fan anyway, so I’ll have more fun this way.)

I’m a University of Illinois grad, writer, dancer, dreamer and as of starting this blog, doer. I love the Fighting Illini as much as I love the Cardinals (and have season tickets to basketball AND football), so don’t be surprised if you see some college sports stuff here, too. I-L-L …
Enjoy the blog! Now, bring on the hot dogs and nachos.
